Neck Corset Tutorial

You'll Need:

Sewing machine
An overlocker if you have one
Needle and thread
Pins!
Scissors
Hole puncher and an eyelet tool
12 eyelets
Iron
Bias tape maker (not necessary, but useful)
Boning - soft plastic boning. I've heard of someone using strips. :) They shouldn't be more than 0,5 cm wide
Bias tape - approx. 20cm long (for the front boning)
Interfacing (approx. 30 x 20 cm)
Fabric of your choice 140 x 50 cm
Tailors chalk
Lacing 5 meters
The pattern (last page), printed out in actual size

Simple And Elegant Neck Corset Tutorial - Easy To Follow

Many of us already have chokers, and tons of necklaces, but sometimes that isn't enough. So I have searched for something more elaborate and elegant than 'just a choker', and found the neck corset.

I just haven't been able to find any tutorial or pattern on how to make it, so I had to make it for myself.

Since it wasn't 'out there', I thought I'd share this with you, so you could ornament yourself with one of the most delightful pieces of art one could wish.

If you're attracted to corset, I'm sure you'll very much like a neck corset as well! :)

And the good thing is, that they aren't that hard to make - So I'm urging you to print out a copy of the pattern, and get sewing.
