Christmas Faux Fireplace Tutorial

You'll Need:

• Fabric: (we'll pretend that your average fabric width is 140cm) Black - 120 cm, Purple - 55 cm, Green - 15 cm, Yellow - 60 cm, Red - (sock included) 30 cm, Orange - 20 cm, White - 10 cm (scraps really) & Backside Fabric of your choice - 100 x 85 cm. All these fabrics can be any sort of fabric, I've mostly used plain colours, but you can use fabrics with pattern and texture if you want to - the choice is really yours. :P)
• Threads - Black, Green, Yellow, Orange, (Red), and White.
• Fusible web - bought in meters with a width of 90 cm. You'll need about 150 cm.
• Batting, We'd like a nice thick one. 100 x 85 cm (roughly the size of the whole thing).
• A button for every sock you'll hang there.
• A sewing machine.
• Pins.
• Tailors chalk or similar.
• Pen or pencil.
• An iron.
• A print of the pattern & tape.
