I’m getting my Madelaine Shirt Tested..

It’s Monday, and we’re having a pretty windy weather here today – which have nothing to do with what I want to write about. But the mood is set, when it’s dark and windy, you’ve got good music a warm sweater and some warm to drink. :) (coooozyyy!)

Anyway!

I’ve had the Madelaine shirt out and about at some wonderful testers – and I thought I’d give you a little peek of what the shirt can be! :)

arbejdstegninger madelaine shirt This is how it looks “on paper” – and here’s what others have made:

Jennifer Moore-Brasher has sewn this black Madelaine shirt with a stripey Raven – I think it’s pretty cute. And she’s has had a model Sarah do some modelling! I love what the people do to help a poor pattern maker out! :D Thanks, Jennifer!

I’ve gotten some pretty good feedback, and I hope to get better and better at the pattern making, so you guys just stay tuned for more! ;)

I’m currently waiting for some model photos from a photographer in California – but they’ll be here soon – and the pattern will be available at my webshop www.BeMyGothPatterns.com.

Leann has also sent me a couple of pictures of her version of the Madelaine shirt:

She has chosen to omit the raven, which makes is more of a basic t-shirt. I really like the lace that she has chosen for the bottom sleeve parts! :)

I had forgotten to mention that the sleeves are pretty long, but it will be added in the description and pattern. And that the shirt is a little loose fitting. It’s not a tight shirt. If you wanted it to be tighter, you could easily chose a size or two smaller that your actual size. I’m considering trying that. :)

And here we have MammaNene’s version (owner of www.SergerPepper.com – Sewing, Serging, Crafting!):

Madelaine SergerPepper I think the bold colors are COOLLLL!!! :) I love the neon pink with the black! And she has chosen the more flamboyant raven! Awesome!

What do you think of it?

Is this a pattern you would consider getting?

It’ll be ready in a jiffy! And I’ll get right back to you!

Here’s my red version:

I’m still learning how to best publish a pattern, so please bear with my fumbling. I’ll get better and better! :D

I just got news (while writing this post), that my photographer has received the clothes – so the pictures should be on their way before long! Yay!

Well.. I’d love to hear your thoughts about the shirt!

And I hope you’ve had a lovely weekend!

kisses – Parnuuna

I’m a fan for life- I love your patterns! This top is so cute! I think I’d make mine as a basic tee also, just because I know I’d wear it more. However, the lace detail in the sleeve makes it feel edgy and cool! I love Irene’s pics- look at her wild side coming out! You patterns make women feel beautiful!
