Our purpose is to share our creative skills and abilities with you. Mostly, we will give you free tutorials on how to create gothic accessories and home decor. To be able to do this for a living, we create some special tutorials that are available to purchase.
Our products, the free ones and the ones we sell, are either available as online picture tutorials or as downloadable PDF files. The products that we sell are all going to be downloadable as PDF.
This site is driven by a goth couple, Bjarke and Parnuuna. Parnuuna bought the domain in the late 2008 and started the site back then. She later merged with Bjarke to recreate the site late 2009.
We want to share our knowledge about The Gothic Crafts. We want to share everything we do to Gothify our lives. And hopefully we'll do it in such a way, that you'll come back often and bring your friends, so we can become the biggest and best Gothic Tutorial Website ever! :)
We've been many places on the internet searching for different kinds of tutorials on gothic accessories and such, but they are very scattered and hard to find. And many are insufficient. So we aim to create and collect all kinds of tutorials here, and make it easier for you to find anything you're looking for.
That way, you should only have to bookmark our website, subscribe to our newsletter, and you'll never miss out on a good gothic tutorial!

Education: Highschool, 3 years in University, studying music, but found out it wasn't for me, and now I'm currently studying to become a tailor and designer.
I've always been creative since I was a kid - staying up all night making beads or knitting or sewing something - and I believe that I'll always be creative. And I've always loved to share my knowledge with my friends and family. I think it's the best to have a "girls night" where you do creative things while gossiping about anything. Apart from my friends and family, though, I have always been attracted to the more dark and sinister side of life. My taste in home decor and clothing have (almost) always been dark. I have had my periods trying out different styles, but I always end up in the darker sphere. Which is cool, I think. ;P
My dream is that one day soon, I'll be able to call myself an independent woman. I'm aiming to be a gothic clothing and accessories designer and have my own label(s). BeMyGoth will put name to it. I think it's an awesome name - I'm so happy I bought the domain!
Another dream is to once become a castle owner, and that it should be in Switzerland. "Why in Switzerland?" you might ask. Well, because I come from a country with lots of mountains and a beautiful view everywhere you look. And here in Denmark, where we are situated now, it's frightfully flat. I also like water very much, and they've got nice big lakes, which is the next best thing after the sea. And one thing I missed in Greenland was trees - Forests. And that they've got too! So geographically, Switzerland is the ideal place for us to live.
In reality, I'd like tons of houses or small castles situated in different cities in different countries - I like traveling a lot! So that's another goal I'd like to achieve. And I will!
I could write a ton more here, but I think I'll start writing in the blog instead. Otherwise this about page will be too extensive.

Education: Highschool, 1,5 years at the University where I have studied 'sociology' and 'production- and design-psychology'. But the university' way of teaching was too you-have-to-do-everything-by-yourself-alone-and-no-classes. And what they actually were teaching was irrelevant for our projects. That's how I saw it at least. Now I'm studying at a technical school, learning to code ASP.net. Haven't gotten around to actually learning ASP.net yet, as there are some things that we need to learn first (like html, css, etc.).
I have always been different from the rest of the population. I didn't play very nice with the cool kids (or was it the otherway around?!) and thus I became an outcast. Luckily I was able to shed the outcast when I began at highschool and somewhat grow into a not too ruined teenager. While in highschool I discovered goth and thus became transformed into an angsty teenager that studied art a lot. Also I wrote a lot of angsty poetry, which helped me save my failing mental health. And while I am a well adjusted human now, I do have some "scars" left from my transformation during the teens.
As a person I am kind, forgiving, generous and semi polite. I try to emulate the human nature combined with the art of the gentleman. But it is difficult to uphold, because I'm afraid to talk back to people, even if I disagree. At that I'm very shy. I'm a very introvert person and I don't like other people too much. Most people feel like great spiky blobs without regard for who or what you may be, and I'm not good at dealing with it, so it's just easier to avoid people. Although, some people, who are very balanced themselves, doesn't tricker my "go away"-feeling.
I dream of getting away from this human glob of stupidness. I don't feel like I belong with the rest of the human race - I want to be free. Sadly, I too am human so I will have to find solution to the human/other-people problem. So I dream of a world where I contact people, when I feel like and NOT out of necessity.
