The summer is upon us here in Denmark now, which means I am in a bit of a hurry if I want to be self-supporting at the end of it. :D
So I am working hard on getting stuff done all the time. A lot of new things have been brewing this last week and a half. If you are a returning reader, you might have noticed that I have redesigned BeMyGoth.com a bit.
It used to be a 3 column blog/shop/tutorial site and now I’ve made it a 2 column blog and tutorial site. I thought it got too crowded, and my shop sort of drowned in all the other stuff – so I’ve made a new website, which is now my Pattern Store – BeMyGothPatterns.com – How convenient is that? :D Now it seems more manageable for me, and probably less cluttered for you. :) Win-win!
And I thought that a lighter theme would make it more professional-like – what are your thoughts?
For now it is all the same ol’ patterns as were here at BeMyGoth.com, but new patterns will emerge in the near future. :) As we speak, as a matter of fact, I am wearing my mock-up of the Madelaine Top, and I have taken pictures. *snicker*
I have not been a proper model though, since I was just to post them here for now – I’ll be a good and proper model soon, when I’ve made another one. :D
Well, here goes:
Wee – pretty little meeeee *ahem*
As you can see, I didn’t even bother to set up the flash kit properly, and I didn’t even ask Bjarke to take the pictures – Hence the remote control hand, and sharp light. :D But you ARE able to see my new top, right?
Hey!!! Do you recognize the skirt? It’s actually one of my first tutorials ever! The Indie Goth Skirt! So it’s right about ancient by now. :D And I still use it once in a while.
I’ve had a long day at work – so I haven’t really prepped up my make-up or hair… (Oh, I whine…) :P
What do you think of the top so far? It’s really rather simple – sort of just a basic raglan shirt with some details on. I am in love with the lace sleeves! :D And the neckline with facing instead of a binding. The sleeves are about 8-10 cm longer than a normal sleeve – which I like (when they are slim – otherwise they are rather annoying, hehe).
Would you make a top like this one?
